Air Bubbles ruining your brand new graphics kit?

Air Bubbles ruining your brand new graphics kit?

20th Sep 2022

Have you just installed a full graphics kit and are noticing some air bubbles popping up in various areas? Don’t worry, this is very normal and unfortunately very common when positioning is slightly off or rushed.

When installing, air can become trapped underneath the vinyl and over time, slowly push the vinyl and its adhesive back off the panel its installed on.

As listed on our handy install guide, heat is your friend here! It's paramount that you run over your graphics kit with the heat gun a few more times in the days following the initial install. By applying heat to the vinyl, the material will become more pliable and therefore, easier to manipulate any air back out from behind the decals whilst also fully activating the adhesive on your graphics.

Be sure to take your time when installing the decals to avoid these pesky bubbles as much as possible but don’t worry too much if they appear, these little ‘tricks of the trade’ are here to help you through any qualms you might have.

Happy Riding.
